The Wheatley Alma Mater says, "For endless years the same." I know that because I saw it in the 1980 Grad. Program posted recently by my class Prez Jeff Mester. I doubt I noticed it that day. It was hot and I must have partied hard the night before, because it felt like noon to me (it was 6pm!). So why not heed those words? Why change what needs no change? Wheatley High is a lot less stuffy and pretentious than The Wheatley School imo.
Art, I never miss reading the newsletter ! I enjoy reading the stories and the shared memories of long ago. Thanks to you and all who take the time to share their thoughts .
Art: These newsletters are gold, and I so appreciate all of your efforts to keep the Wheatley alums up to date. And thanks to Roddy Nierenberg for his recent reflections (Roddy visited me in Santa Barbara a few years back). Steven Amerikaner, 1965.
